CPI inches up in shopping month near Tet

In spite of having entered the nearest month to the Lunar New year (Tet) with its increasing demand for travel and shopping, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of the whole country in January 2016 remained unchanged compared to December 2015 and only edged up 0.8% over a year earlier, reported the General Statistics Office (GSO) on January 24th.
