A university degree in Vietnamese language and culture has just been officially launched for the first time in Occitanie region in southern France.

Pyatigorsk State University (PGU) of Russia has been presented with a Friendship Order by the Vietnamese State for its contributions to training generations of Vietnamese students since 1968.

About 800 gifts were recently presented to overseas Vietnamese in Kampong Cham, Kratie and Stung Treng, the three hardest-hit provinces of Cambodia, by the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia, the Khmer-Vietnam Association in Cambodia and Vietnamese businesses operating in the country.

A ceremony was organized to mark the 65th anniversary of Hanoi Capital’s Liberation Day (October 10th, 1954 – October 10th, 2019) by the Ha Thanh Club and Overseas Vietnamese Community in Poland in Warsaw with the theme “Hanoi - love and memory”.

Agricultural products of about 30 Vietnamese businesses are being introduced at Anuga, the largest trade fair for food and beverages in the world, in Germany’s Cologne city from October 5th-9th.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Ngo Duc Manh paid a working visit to the Republic of Kalmykia from October 7th-9th at the invitation of Kalmyk President Batu Khasikov.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Belgium and Head of the Vietnamese Mission to the European Union (EU) Vu Anh Quang led a delegation to attend the Manifiesta festival, organized on Bredene beach in Northern Belgium by the Workers' Party of Belgium (PTB) from September 21st - 22nd.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Indonesia and the channel for external news service of Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV5) launched a contest on President Ho Chi Minh’s visit to Indonesia on September 18th.

An exhibition titled “Vietnam - Eternal attraction” was recently organized by the administration of Mexico and Vietnamese Embassy in Mexico, in Paseo de la Reforma Boulevard in Mexico’s capital to introduce the beauty of the land and people of Vietnam to local people and international friends.

More than 100 delegates, representing 9 different groups of the Vietnamese community living, studying and working in Fukuoka, recently organized a meeting to establish the overseas Vietnamese Association in Fukuoka, Japan.
