Over 280 Vietnamese citizens were brought home safely from the US on a flight arranged by Vietnamese authorities, representative agencies of Vietnam in the US, national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and relevant agencies of the US on July 27th.

More than 340 Vietnamese citizens brought home safely from Japan on July 28th on a flight arranged by Vietnamese agencies, the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and relevant Japanese agencies.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Mexico Nguyen Hoai Duong on July 8th presented a decision by Deputy Prime Minister cum Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh on appointing Mr. Miguel Angel Landeros Voquart, Vice President of the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade (COMCE), as Vietnam’s Honorary Consul in Guadalajara, in charge of the states of Jalisco and Colima, for the 2020-2023 period.

The Vietnamese Embassy in the US expressed concerns over the US administration’s new visa policy for international students, but said it will try to protect Vietnamese students’ legitimate interests in the country.
