General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and State President To Lam and his spouse will pay a state visit to China from August 18 – 20.

On August 14, the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations and the Vietnam-India Friendship Association of Ho Chi Minh City, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh Museum's Ho Chi Minh City branch, organized a meeting to commemorate the 78th Anniversary of India's Independence Day (August 15, 1947 - August 15, 2024).
